First 911 arriving in a week, what kind of reactions should I expect on the road?

I also want to know what you wonder. This is a dream car to a lot of folks. Some of these people also don't want a lot of attention. I have seen some of the members on here say they don't want a bunch of attention. So the non attention seeking person may want to make sure this car does not give them too much unwanted attention.

I get a lot of attention in my Sharky GTS Cabrio and not so much when I owned both my GT3s.( White and then Black)
I get a lot of Women pulling up and complimenting on the Color. I am convinced SB is pleasant on the Female's eyes. Even my Wife was pissed when My Son convinced me to get SB. When I brought it home She fell in love with the color. I found my GT3s in White and black were more intimidating and my SB to be more approachable.
Now- it could be my good looks and I should stop blaming the car

I don’t want attention, especially from haters and cops. (Not that I speed more than the other traffic on the highway, but don’t want to be singled out just because my car is more obvious/flamboyant).

That’s probably better. In my 911, I sometimes have a trooper sneakily speed up and hide behind a few cars behind me, and they occasionally pop out to peek, because they think I am going to take off as soon as I enter the highway. It’s happened occasionally. After a while they get bored, pull left and pass on. I guess this is dependent on the region you live.
But back to the OPs question, this is the kind of attention you don’t want, so keep an eye on your rear and side view mirrors (especially after just entering the highway).

If you know, you know. That's the type of people that give you reactions. Everyone else are NPCs.

On the street i get: random folks wanting a stoplight race. young boys giving me a thumbs up. young men asking me what i do for a living.
Gas stations: a lot of dudes complement the car. i've had a few women stop to talk. these have all been artist type women or thier dad had a 911. one woman's dad restores 356s so that was interesting.
Social circles: when meeting my kids friends parents for the first time i get a lot of dads saying "my wife would never let me get one" the mom's, oddly, gush over the 911.

One of the (many) reasons I sold my R8 was kids would constantly race up from behind to see it and then usually linger in the blind spot to the right to check out the motor view. Also encountered a few bizarre road rage events when I drove it quickly. Basically it attracted way more attention than I was looking for in most situations.
In my Carrera I get the occasional admiring glance and when someone is lingering along side I can actually see them!

My wife, who was in the passenger seat of the R8, was not amused when some teenage girls in the back of a school bus flashed us.

Here is LA I'll get comments at gas stations or parking lots maybe but VERY little attention while driving. Funny thing is that we may have the reverse situation with the Jeep/Porsche setup. I get much more attention in my jeep here in LA (but to be fair the 392 is LOUD and draws a ton of attention)

Also good heavens... that racing yellow targa above looks spectacular. Nice build.

Few LIers will care or notice. But stay away from the malls - don't go, don't park there. See the story of that woman in the Urus carjacked at Roosevelt Field a few weeks ago. I also never buy gasoline after dark on LI, and never buy gas at a station with a mini-mart. Many robberies at those places all over LI and you don't want to be pumping gas into a $140K car when/if one occurs while you are there. I gas up only at Costco now.
