Since nobody's been posting anything worthwhile on the "what did you buy" thread, I needed a fix so I bought a few phone mounts to see which ones would work best.

I don't charge my phone in the car so I just needed a mount. Otherwise it'd fall out of my pocket and I'd have to fish for it after I got out or it'd be on the passenger seat.

Don't like the laser engraved logo and gloss gunmetal finish. Base fits perfectly. Doesn’t swivel so the only way I would mount it would be on a bias so the phone would face me. But when you do that the magnetic top part protrudes when laid flat.

I chose the TT&C. Small, unobtrusive, cheap. Does everything I need and cheap. Did I mention it's cheap at $5/piece.

I wish the syncwire were smaller. I'd probably pick that if it were just because of the form factor even though it's something I picture an uber driver having.

That does look the best, but I need that keep holder. And I haven't seen any aftermarket cup holder I'd ever buy.

Use this. I think this is the best. For me at least.

Mount is proclips usa. Stick a magnet you can buy from Amazon.

I think the best solution for phone and cupholder, but the cupholder is a bit spendy. OTOH, it'll handle a large Yeti or Stanley (I suspect that 95% of all 911 owner's significant others have a Stanley Cup).

I’m trying to understand the need for any phone mount. I just put mine in the center console. If it’s a long drive, I plug it in so it stays charged. Anything I need to access on the phone I get through CarPlay.

Anyone with a pre 2022 992 and an android phone is not as privileged.
That group may find a mount more necessary.

even then, just plug it in and put it in the console. i plug mine in and leave it in the bin where some have a cup holder. never need to touch or look at the phone when i'm driving. since i have a wireless connection it just normally goes in the door bin.
