I'm curious to hear as well, plan to tune this spring (both 718 and 992) and it would be great to hear real-world feedback.

The only people that are doing extensive testing on products seems to be @Flat6Motorsports Maybe they should run APR on that new CT they have coming in before moving all the mods over from the C2.

Not sure what your question means: there are only so many variables a tuner has access to, ie all tunes are just variations of fuel, timing, boost, etc. Off the shelf maps are usually cheaper but leave something on the table, while custom tunes are more expensive and can be customize to your specific mods and risk tolerance. At the end of the day you are up against the physics of combustion so no tune can change that…

We have tested on the base 992. We're friends with those guys, we handpick the best solutions with our Power Kits. M-Engineering and Softronic remain the two most popular choices with our client base. We plan to do more broad testing (including Cobb) here soon when the T arrives.

*assuming the conversation is constrained to off the shelf tunes
Fuel quality is different all over the place, so there could be benefits to getting a tune that was developed on your local fuel.
