Michelin Pilot Sport 4S

Looks like I won the tire lottery!
I just received the final production photo from Porsche.
I zoomed in and I see, “Michelin Pilot Sport” on the sidewall…

I had the original Pirellis changed today because of a rear flat tire and needed both rears done, so I just bit the bullet and had all 4 tires changed to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in Porsche Spec.
Drove about 70 miles after the new tires were mounted and I must say that there is a huge difference (all positive) between the Michelins and Pirellis.
Obviously, the Pirellis had 8000 miles on them, some hard, and were the original set, but the PS4S tires are so much more compliant, a bit quieter, and I think they look better. They have a larger tread contact patch by about .5 inch and they just look meatier.
Very pleased with my decision and the service folks at the dealership feel the Michelins are the best choice for the 911 for the street compared to Pirelli, Goodyear, or Continental.

My .2 GTS had 10k mile P Zeros on them. I could not launch, The ride was rough. The car would lose traction at full throttle kickdown in first gear on standard roads. I upgraded to PS4S and could hook a launch control on 50* surfaces. They were quieter. They gripped better.
My 992 GTS has 2400 miles on Goodyears. I think they're fine. Its hard to make a true comparison as this car is stiffer and has 21" rears both which differ from my PDCC equipped 991. In addition I have moved states so direct comparison is not there.
When the time comes I will go back to Michelins.

Thats's big news if verifiable information exists and can be shared here.
It's always amazed me that the French make a better tyre than the Germans for a German sports car !

There seem to be various tires that fit different Porsche wheel sizes. I can get the Michelins’s for my 20 inch RS Spyder wheels but not Yokohama’s or Goodyear’s that are Porsche spec.

Thank you for posting the link, a decent round up of tyres are compared.
I did take note that the review is from early 2022 and in a Toyota/BMW colab car.
I don't recall seeing/ reading any posts here on the 992 forum singing Conti's praises.
I'm due for new tyres and can't wait to replace my Pirellis.
I spoke with my SA and he said if I went with Contis my wheel and tyre warranty would not be transferred
If I go with Michelin, the warrant transfers, so that sealed the deal..

Unfortunately the above mentioned reviews are not for the N-Spec tires. Would love to see a detailed review and performance testing of all the 992 N-Spec tires. With a bonus compare of the Cup2 Connect. Anyone know a YouTube tire reviewer?

Yes they have been discussed endlessly. But as far as I know, no one has done a controlled, back-to-back testing of these 3 tires.
