This is a generally a non-issue for daily driving and even on the track, as long as you warm them up. Takes about one or two laps to get them to temp. I've had some sketchy first lap moments on the PS4S, but fine once they have some temperature in them. For autocross they aren't great, very little grip when cold. I have them on my GTS, and the rear grip is terrible. GTS easily overpowers these tires. I also autocrossed my Base 992, which had the Goodyears, traction felt great, but this could've been due to the power difference. I'll be switching to the Goodyears on the GTS on the next go around. Would like something that can perform better from cold, and have equivalent performance on the track. Note the Michelins are a 300 treadwear tire vs 240 for the Goodyear -- hopefully this is indicative of better traction. It's unfortunate we don't have even lower treadwear options available in stock 992 sizes.
Treadwear ratings are arbitrary and meaningless for anything other than grouping tires in a general category. Pay no mind.

Knowing you, I assume you've ordered ultra lightweight magnesium wheels or something. But I'm not sure how that matters for the tire sizes?
They will fit, but not perform optimally. Spec tire are specifically designed, developed and optimized around a given chassis application which includes wheel width.

@zachr what @CanAutM3 said.
Tires are very important.
Use the proper rim width for the right series tire.
Simple to go with N spec extreme summers by going with GT3 width rims.
Also yes, I'm going with magnesium but the primary reason is performance.
Weight, compound, and width are all part of that performance equation.

Did you happen to see this thread:

GT3 wheels on a GTS stick out 1-2cm in the rears. That's why I was curious if you got a different offset.

If you look at his black car he’s posted on, he has custom wheels made then and now a second set for his new one. He’s dialing in the fitment to work with a GT3 size tire and width that has the right offset for his fitment. You can have this done with any custom wheel. Check out the aftermarket wheel thread for more info on folks that run other than stock configs.

Yes, offsets are custom. Width and diameter are GT3 specs.
