Maybe the confusion is around the timing of production/deliveries, but .2 and the hybrid models will be announced this summer as confirmed yesterday, .2 ICE 911 production starts in the 2nd half of the year, GTS (hybrid) likely begins production in Q4 and sounds like shortly followed by hybrid Turbo models early next year. Full lineup in 2025. Somewhat interesting is that certain dealers will be driving the new 911 next week in Singapore, whether it's the hybrid or not is unclear. Hybrids were delayed by a battery supplier, but sounds like they think they're close to sorting that out.

Not in a “tizzy”. Could really care less as I will not be buying one in any event. Just noting all the changes ……like the single variable vane turbo for the 3.6L comment. The mules have been consistently showing the 992.2 with two different front bumpers, in fact.

I'm not a huge fan but I'd bet the look grows on me once I see it in person and realize that from normal human viewing angles its not going to be that big of a deal. Again, the only change that we know is coming that actually bums me out is the digital tach. I LOVE the tach in my 992.

Also, I 100% agree about the digital tach. This was one of the reasons I decided to order a 992.1 !

I think it’s the other way around. The version with the horizontal slats and open heat exchangers is probably the sport design bumper. The version with the automatic vertical slats is the standard bumper (which correlates to the automatic horizontal slats on the current standard bumper).

The cars without the horizontal slats tend to have side skirts (and that bumper is much more aggressive looking to my eye). With horizontal slats, no side skirts, more moderate front lip, and less aggressive looking. Certainly doesn't confirm which one is sport design but to me its the most likely. Both bumpers have the automatic fins now if you look closely.

I guess for the .2, the elevated license plate is present for both the standard rear bumper, and the sport design bumper? Or have we only been seeing .2s with sportdesign?
