Default Rear Bumper Reflector in Black or Body Color?

I'm looking for your opinion(s) so bring it on! My Carrera S build is in Gentian Blue, and I would like to eliminate all the "Red" on the exterior of the car.

The only area that I can not remove from the factory are the Rear Bumper Reflectors, shown in the Pic below to the right & left, and slightly higher than each exhaust tip;

I have found replacement reflectors, painted in Black or in Gentian Blue. Which would you prefer and why? See example pics below,

Painted Black;

Painted in Body Color;

Link to Vendor for more example pics

Thanks for your input!!

I'd go black.

Like any thread on color opinion, you’re going to get opinions both ways. Go with your gut. I ordered mine in Gentian from bumper plugs.

And as a side note I liked the look of the sport design front bumper and side skirts, but didn’t like the rear sport design. Ordered that way and happy. I also ordered the front lip and side skirt in gentian body color. As in other threads, some like those in black, some like body color. So many choices 😊

I went with an easy to install sticker that blackened the rear reflectors. Don't recall the name of the provider though, sorry.

I had mine covered in tint when I had the windows done-

Love how it blends in with the bumper.

I went with black as I wanted the contrast to go along with the black emblem on the bumper and the black surround of the exhaust tips. On your car I would probably go with the blue to color match your bumper as the black wont be exactly the same shade of matte black as your rear valance is.

Agree with the others. Body color just looks oddly cheap.

They are due later this week. One of the recent threads prompted me to make the purchase.

Bumperplugs sent instructions, and they look easy enough to pop off. Tape off the surrounding area, plastic pry tool. Other threads had said the bumper needed to come off, to replace them the right way. But looks straight forward.
