QuickJack 5000TL no longer lifting 992
Went to use my QuickJacks to change to winter wheels this morning - they would, for the first time in 3 years, only lift my 992 by 2.5 inches.
I've loved my QuickJacks - have been repeatedly lifting a 993 and a 968 for over a year, no problems. And based on a quick Google - the 993 seems as though it is only slightly lighter than a 992 C2S (hundreds of lbs, ironically?).
I'm aware that the fulcrum movement requires a few inches to get leverage; however, these worked last year and the year before.
I've bled them again, ensured 40 lbs in the air cylinders (even though this helps with lowering not raising), have ensured the QJ oil tank is full, removed the ball bearings that I roll them around on for a little more space, and put my Front Axle Lift up to get some more space.
Any pointers? Guess I can run the 993 up on ramps first to try that.

That doesn't sound right to me. My experience is that I have less than an inch clearance between the rubber block and the jack point and have never had a lifting problems.

Ok - bled the cylinders again and even removed the extension hoses that I had added so it's back to the original config, nothing.
Then - I just removed the rear pucks and had the blocks touch the lift points directly (which I don't like as I don't always trust myself to line them up).
The extra 1" of space (there was already about 1/2") made the difference.
Dammit, what a waste of time.
