Suspension differences: C2S base vs C2S PASM (-10mm) vs GTS base vs GTS PASM (+10 mm)
Trying to understand the difference between these various configurations. I have not yet had an opportunity to drive some of these options, so want to figure out which may be the right fit for me ahead of tracking them down to drive. This will be a daily driver and never tracked. Thanks!

C2S has PASM as standard
C2S has optional SPASM (Sport PASM), which lowers the car 10mm vs. standard S fitment
GTS has SPASM as standard -- same ride height as C2S SPASM
GTS has optional PASM, which raises the car 10mm vs. standard GTS fitment -- same ride height as C2S PASM
One other difference:
Standard GTS has the suspension from the Turbo/S, so the spring rate is higher vs. the S's optional SPASM. They are not the same in spite of both being SPASM. The GTS will ride more firmly.
Lastly, I believe the optional PASM on the GTS it is the same as the standard C2S PASM, but I'm not certain. These two would be identical -- i.e. it overrides the Turbo suspension/spring rates on the GTS.

Sport PASM and PASM have significantly difference spring rates on a C2S. I know that was mentioned in the post above but just stating it clearly

Three Wheelin'
My understanding is that there are 4 different suspension configurations available on the non-GT 992 models with varying spring rates and adapted damping, available in different combination on the different model variants:
Setup above per model variant:
I hope this helps.
- Base PASM
- Base Sport-PASM (10mm lower)
- Turbo PASM
- Turbo Sport-PASM (10mm lower)
Setup above per model variant:
- Carrera: 1. Standard / no option
- Carrera-T: 2. Standard / no option
- Carrera-S: 1. Standard / 2. Optional
- Targa: 1. Standard / no option
- Carrera-GTS: 4. Standard / 1. Optional
- Turbo/Turbo-S: 3. Standard / 4. Optional
I hope this helps.

Love my 992 C4 PASM. Not too firm and sporty enough (for me). My previous Porsche was a 981 Cayman S with SPASM in an older technology.

Any thoughts on how the ride of a 971 4S wit PASM in sport and sport plus would compare to these and where it’s stiffness/ride quality might fit into this mix for daily driving? Thanks.

I am running a 4S with PDCC, Sport PASM -10mm, and RAS. Softer setting very comfortable for daily. Firmer setting, great for spirited driving, and noticeably firm. Biggest impact on daily comfort, set TPMS to comfort and lower your tire pressure. I’m at 30/32 and very comfortable.
