Default Anyone else on the Lake Wanaka

Left Emden three days ago and seems to be circling around the English Channel the whole time bound for Halifax, Canada. When I do the F12 trick Baltimore is identified so perhaps it will stop in Baltimore after Halifax or perhaps Rhode Island or both. TYD shows delivery at dealer on 11/17.

Anyone else have a car on this vessel?

I'm on this ship as well. My dealer delivery is 11/20. My dealer is in Peoria. Your dealer must be closer to port.

If you're on that ship they really should throw in a trip to the real place:

My SA told me yesterday I am on the same ship. Arrival date at dealer is supposed to be 11/15 via Baltimore port. Vessel finder website definitely shows differently ship location than My Porsche tracking app.

Still stuck in the English channel about 40 miles northwest of LaHavre. Interesting place historically (where Thomas Jefferson arrived in France in 1784) but not helping us get our cars any sooner. I guess it is cheaper to send a vessel out to sea and have it hold in position than pay the port to have it docked. Still showing arrival in Halifax on November 14.

It appears that the Lake Wanaka has finally left the English Channel and is on the way to Halifax for its first stop.

Thank goodness! I wonder if there will be any delay in delivery.

My TYD is now showing an arrival at the local port on 11/12 but this won't happen because the Lake Wanaka is not scheduled to dock in Halifax until 11/15 at 2:00pm and then must proceed to Baltimore and perhaps Rhode Island as well. TYD says that the car will be at the dealer on 11/17 which also seems impossible. Best case is probably 11/20. Have a family trip scheduled for 11/21-12/1. Had hoped the car would get there before the trip so I can inspect it and move it on to PPF. Waited over 2 years so another two weeks won't be a problem.

Decided on full car PPF and ceramic coating, 48 month wheel and tire and bought a separate set of OEM wheels and winter tires. The plan is to keep this car for a while.

The cost of the PPF and ceramic alone is about the same price as my first new car purchase in 1986. A 5-speed Volkswagon Golf in silver with black and blue checkered seats.

Need to stop making these comparisons.

This site gives free sat tracking over the ocean if you guys are curious for Lake Wanaka. https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais...756123/zoom:10
I think my TYD is 11/17 but no way its going to make that. It will probably be in Baltimore 11/17. I guess one more week wait is ok lol.

Is it possible that Wanaka is going to Baltimore Port first now then Halifax? My TYD still has not changed.

My TYD has not changed either. Still showing arrival at dealer on November 17 which seems like a pipe dream. The destination provided in the two vessel tracker apps I have been using still shows Halifax.

Good Luck!

Lake Wanaka is almost at the Delaware Bay and scheduled to dock 6:00pm today. My dealer is about 125 miles from the port. So maybe I see it Monday before I leave for my trip.........or maybe not. I have a 4-car garage but now have 5 cars. I think the 2013 Volvo C-30 will stay out in the cold until I sell my 1949 Ford F-1 pickup.

Yea my dealership is around Lancaster PA, I imagine it won't take no more then 2 days once it leaves port. However with thanksgiving around the corner I imagine it might take some time at the port for it to process. I am hoping for next weekend but expecting the following first weekend of December.
