Well that is one way to catch up with demand, kill demand.

Perhaps the front slats will only be open like that while in motion and needing cooling; otherwise closed for aerodynamics...and appearance...

A bit of overkill imo. The vertical aero fins will, hopefully, not make the cut. Hard to find the right word, just to “busy”. Keep the smoother, simpler look. Active for air flow is more overkill. Still no grills on the radiators.
Turn signals integrated into the headlight? Can the bulbs be changed? Or is it $6K when a turn signal goes out ? :-)
Center exhaust is ok if you have to update the rear ended.

Don’t hate the back, don’t love the front. Really dislike the integrated turn signal. Not sure why but I don’t like it. Ehh. Everyone always likes to hate the new model until it’s for sale.

I also suspect the headlights are using multicolor LEDs that can color change to orange so no more likely to fail as a bulb than the headlights. My Audi has separate amber LEDs for signal and white for DRL and the white DRL would toggle off when the signal is activated. I actually coded that off so the DRL would stay on because I didn't like the winking look. So it doesn't thrill me that it appears the wink is going to be mandated here but not the end of the world.
I agree with all of this.

My Haiku fail:
BMW has their beaver teeth.
Porsche now has their fish gills.
Or Luke, I am your father.
Back isn't bad.

The changes are such that most people won’t be able to tell which is newer. I’m sure the hybrid powertrains will be great. But I really think the analog tach will be missed. It is a really neat touch.

I don't hate the refresh but at the same time don't love it. Looks like most of the European auto makers are coming out with more bold and aggressive front ends and Porsche is following suit. Pretty sure we'll see the rear end with a solid light bar similar to the Taycan and New Cayenne, which will be nice IMO. Good to see no big change in the rear wing. Hopefully they can keep them in stock and not on stop sale every other month. Love to see a ducktail option added. It'll be interesting to see a side by side comparison of the sport design package with the standard package.
Like any new 911 change, we'll all grow to love it. I'm just not sure I'll be in a big hurry to trade in my 992.1 for a 992.2. But give me a year and I should be ready.
