I don't think that follows the 5-7-5 Haiku rule so it's a failed Haiku about failing.

Ever heard of the 996?
Seriously though, after 25 years, they're starting to look good to my eye.

LOL!
996 GT3 looks awesome to me now. Compared to most of the weird "trendy" stuff being made today, I have much appreciation for the classic proportions of the 996 and the headlights have become less and less bothersome to me as well.

Yup. Exactly what I meant by haiku fail. 😉

Is it true BMW made the beaver teeth grill because Chinese buyers wanted a more prominent grill? Let's hope Porsche knows better than to listen to the nouveau riche whose need to flaunt their wealth manifests into gaudy style preferences.

Agree. They're starting to acquire a cool "vintage watercooled" vibe in a way the 997s just can't because they look too modern/timeless.

Few companies offer change as incremental, and palatable, as Porsche. The .2 will be no exception. Vertical slats on the front bumper, if incorporated, will be a noticeable change to those here, but not to the majority.

Nothing is official, nor inherently worse.

The .2 will be (until the new generation arrives):

- Faster.
- More expensive.
- Highly coveted.

Not many change management leaders in here. That’s okay.

Also, can we get a data over lay of previous owners, allocation dreamers, and the level of insult to the new model?

Porsche is not infallible. They’re only flawed people running a company. But protecting the 911 is mission one.
