Question 992 - Braking distance(s)?

I have been wondering what the braking distance and time (roughly) is for the current 992 models available. Could not find anything as most written articles and reviews are on acceleration times.

I know there are ofc many factors playing a part such, as brakes and disks used, tyres (model and wear), road conditions (temperature wet/damp/dry) etc etc...

So reason I'm asking, is that there are so many low IQ drivers in their souped up <Add Make and Model>, tailgating to get a reaction and/or maybe just want to "race".

Google delivers! Within 2 clicks I was able to find some data. Maybe you could try and that and/or look at Porsche's own website and toss out some facts yourself to incite some conversation.

Just an idea.

Yikes - super snarky Monday responses. Bad work day? Not so much for me - retired - every day is a good day.
To address the OP - it's your choice to engage or not with sophomoric drivers trying to bait you. I'd wager the 992 will outbrake pretty much anything you will see on the street in normal driving. Nothing to worry about.

What's the end goal here: figure out how aggressively you can brake check one of these tailgaters and get yourself rear ended?

WTF just happened here????

One decent answer and the rest just cringeworthy, trying to intimidate and raise them selves above the rest is just not worth anyones time.
@PHX : "Google delivers! Within 2 clicks..." - Why are you on Rennlist if Google has all your answers?

This is the first time in 11 years I have been using Rennlist that I have had such arrogant and unhelpful replies.

You’ve been on here for 11 years and can’t figure out how to look up braking data from not only Porsche but Car and Driver and MotorTrend?

70-0 about 140 ft

Per C&D testing:

Genuine question: why are you asking? The above isn't really a reason in and of itself. How do you intend to apply the stopping distance data to the first part of the equation you mentioned?

Braking distance test results is always something I take with a grain of salt. The numbers can provide a high level appreciation of the braking capability of a car but it is important to realize that they can vary quite significantly from test to test because braking distance are impacted by many external factors that affect grip, such as tire condition, road condition and temperature.

I trust C&D to do a good/objective job in standardizing their testing procedure, not least of which includes testing new models shortly after their release (ie, tire wear, road/track surface should not be an issue/variable). In general, the entire 911 range has some of the shortest 60-0 and 70-0 stopping distances of all cars ever tested. Here is a composite list, from 60-0 mph, for the shortest stopping distance cars. The various 911 variants are well represented.

https://fastestlaps.com/lists/top-qu...stoppers-60mph

The 992 S has a 70-0 mph stopping distance of 140 ft, and a 60-0 a stopping distance of 94 feet. So, if you’re worried about stopping, speed is the real parameter that matters most….with stopping distances going up, considerably, as the speed goes up.

Welcome to the 992 sub. It's not your John Dunkle RL anymore. Sadly.

Not the best source but this brake test compares the C2 with the GT3 which is interesting:
