i believe Porsche will not warranty the Bose speaker defect if you will not allow the WPJ6 amp recode/update however.
I juust had mine done today and I actually felt like it sounded better than it did before the recall...

I like the way my BOSE sounds, so I will make sure not to have this update performed.
