I personally like a lot of the green colours however if I were Porsche I would offer an alternative to Aventurine Green and think Rock Green Metallic would be very well received by a lot of buyers that want something different from Agate Grey, silvers, whites and blacks.

Moving away from the green colour wheel I also really like Carbon Steel Metallic as an alternative to Agate Grey or Jet Black Metallic. There are a lot of really nice metallic blues also if Porsche were to offer an alternative to Gentian Blue.

Currently rolling in a Macan Copper Ruby metallic loaner and have to say I like this cars shape dressing in this color. Now would it fit another shape or like would I like it after 5 years? other questions but it did got me pondering when you could get a 911 in Mahogany Met ....there was something about that silhouette in that unique color.

For me my 911 is about understated elegance and have preference for metallic based colours as opposed to celebrating the 911 beauty with bright and stand out “look at me” colours.

A PTS color is not going to be promoted to a regular color.
Green, any green really, only makes rare appearances as a standard color.
That being said, I’d be perfectly happy if the Audi color “Tactical Green Metallic” got a Porsche equivalent. If you want to see where the standard palette is going, look at Audi, because that’s where our Shark Blue and Arctic Grey came from. There’s actually a long history of colors appearing on other VW brands before showing up on a Porsche with a fancy new name. Sure, the color names are different, but the similarities are uncanny.

I want purple, let’s go!

I predict Chalk/Crayon will go PTS and be dropped from the standard lineup.

Really hoping for an elegant green option, outside of PTS. I had Porsche Racing Green Metallic previously. Oak would be ideal but with the PTS window who really knows.

If it is any indication, the newly released Panamera has a Green Oak Metallic Neo option, like they did with Ruby Star before.
