My UK GTS with RAS was delivered 3 weeks ago with a LiFEPO4 battery

Seems like they decided to pull these batteries from the US market because they smell a class action lawsuit coming. It would be interesting to see if they are still using the Lithium batteries in Cayennes sold outside the US, because reportedly all US market 2024 Cayennes are coming with AGM as well.

So, is AGM vs Lithium just a supply substitute for RAS vehicles or are '24 GTS confirmed to have AGM battery and not Lithium (in the US)?

That's the standard now with late 2023s and all 24s, that's what my dealer told me.

MY 2024 Targa 4S (US) came with RAS. While my 2022 Targa 4S and 2020 4S coupe (all with RAS came with the Lipo. Happy to have the AGM. My 991.2 GT3T has RAS and also an AGM, so we knew it would work!
