Default 992 GTS allocation - at what ADM?

I have just been told that I can get an allocation for a 992 GTS. Of course, they want a pretty big ADM for it. I am willing to pay some ADM on it, but obviously do not want to get ripped off. From what you have all seen/heard, what is a reasonable mark-up for an allocation in So Cal? Thanks.

I wouldn’t pay an ADM unless you absolutely couldn’t find single car out there that’s CPO to your liking.

They’re not fetching anything substantial if any, over MSRP on Cargurus.

Yeah, I've seen some used ones real close to if not at msrp. Just haven't found any with the options I want. . .manual, front axle lift, ras, bucket seats.

$10k would be fair, I'd aim for MSRP + watch or maintenace

10-15k if you can get an allocation before next price hike. Then it's just a wash.

I hadn't thought of the watch/maintenance/ppf idea. I'm going to give that a shot.

I was hoping for $10k or less. Sounds like it might be in the ballpark.

For that I think I'd pass and wait and see if the market softens. Maybe after the next interest rate hike?

Thanks. Hopefully I can get it done for less though.

I am going to answer to the specific part of your question that said "in So Cal". You can ignore most of the replies here from members that claim "no adm" etc. that have not dealt with the so cal market first hand as they have no clue what the environment is like here (as I am sure you have encountered, a non ADM deal is not happening if you order a GTS from a So Cal dealer). Most are likely asking between $15 and $25 over on a true available GTS allocation. You can always try and negotiate any asking ADM down somewhat though.

I know CA is bad as far as markups go, but hopefully I can get them down quite a ways from what they initially said they want. At least they mentioned that their quote was just a starting point. I just don't want to respond with a number that is insulting in light of the market and cuts off any further negotiation.

Do you have a trade in?

It's a negotiation. Two ways to do it: Start low and work from there, or be upfront about what you're willing to pay and stand firm. No need to think that a low number will be insulting. It's not like you're asking for a discount.

Interest rates don’t matter, everyone pays cash.
