@Wilder This time I have my son home from the Navy for that week so we might take the TTS cab (wife and I) and his CaymanS (two sons) or the Hummer EV and stuff everyone in it, plenty of room.

Very cool that you get to make it a family affair. Great if you bring two porsches but ultimately being together is what counts I'm sure. Are you in socal? I'm driving up from Mexico and putting a bit of a caravan together as I drive through SD and LA.

Hi Folks - I have several people interested in the Corral ticket, just so everyone knows. As soon as it's settled I'll post a note.

RR7 is quickly approaching. It'd be great to start nailing down two things: 1) the drive up to Laguna from SD/LA and 2) an RL meet in Monterrey.

1. Rally to RR7
I plan to leave Del Mar the morning of the 27th. My ideal route is I5 to Santa Monica then PCH to just north of Morro Bay where the last exit before road closure is located, then take secondary roads from there all the way to Laguna. We can have two departure points/times on the 27th: one in SD at 9am and one in Santa Monica Peer at noon. If anyone who knows the area between Morro Bay and Monterrey and can confirm this is a good idea, please do. See maps below of my proposed route. We can always jump on the 101, but that would be rather boring. Let's have a show of hands from those interested.

2. RL Meet in Monterrey
@996AE suggested Thursday after track closing at ALVARADO Street Brewery (426 Alvarado Street, 831.655.2337). Let's have a show of hands from those interested.

Nice route. As an option I usually take the 154 out of Santa Barbara. Its a twisty, can be fast and fun ride/drive and a little quicker if not stuck behind a motorhome....

I did float moving our RL, Thrusday get together to Friday after track closes, as Baja Cantina has a live band and car show Thursday. With Reunion folks in town this could be super fun place to meet up. It will be busy but its a cool place, not far from track

Open to ideas

Thanks for that suggestion. I've driven SD and LA to Vancouver many times but a long time ago and I don't recall all the different routes. I mostly outlined driving on the coast as much as possible but if there are better roads like the 154, I'm all for it.

Are you driving up on the 27th? Are you doing Albuquerque to Bakersfield or what's your route?
