I’m going and hoping to meet up with several friends from Nord Stern PCA. Just moved to SoCal and planning on driving up in my 992C2S.

@4carl @Alan Smithee @BadlyDrawnBoy @rumifaizer still working out the details but I'll likely be driving up from San Diego. We ought to make a meet and drive up together.

I have four premier pit row suit tickets for Rennsport that I cannot use due to schedule changes. Would love to hand them off to any of you guys at cost of course. Shoot me a message if you're interested.

I'll be going up Wednesday...depending on a few things may make it a straight shot or spend the day taking the twisties.

^ Any opportunity to take 33 without wife and dogs…not sure I’ll take it all the way up to 46…but the good part for sure, time permitting. Some fun back roads into Carmel/Monterey as well.

Only a small portion of Hwy 1 is closed, near Big Sur. My wife and I just drove the entire PCH from north to south. Had to do it in a rental car since the 911 had not yet arrived. Plus, we took our two Doodle puppies. It was an epic drive that would be even more epic in the 911.

How did you get around the closed part? I’m heading up there on Thursday and can’t see an easy way to get around the closed section.

We were driving southbound. So we drove as far south as we could on Hwy 1. Got lots of pictures. That actually is the most beautiful stretch of the entire PCH. After that, we turned around and headed back north to Monterrey where we were staying. From Monterrey, we then took Hwy 68 to the 101 and went southbound to Harmony, CA. You’ll have to do something similar heading northbound.

For Rennsport Reunion, we’re driving up Friday and will stay in Monterrey again. Just heading to the reunion on Saturday and then driving back to San Diego sometime on Sunday.

thanks; I’ve driven highway 1 before and agree that stretch is really great, I was hoping to do it again but don't really feel like having to turn around; now I’m thinking of heading north instead and checking out the roads north of Santa Cruze. It looks like theres some nice drives there as well.

I have tickets for Reunion and may head up for a couple of days if time allows.

Cool Roommate Wanted! Any Porsche couple heading to the Rennsport Renunion and need a nice place to stay? My wife and I (58 yo) are going have a cute 2 bedroom airbnb rented in Pacific Grove. I booked it 6 months ago when prices were reasonable - about $350/night each couple - 3 nights - Thursday Sept 28 - Oct 1. A friend dropped out so that leaves us with an extra bedroom. PM me.

I am having my GT4RS transported from Florida - with the new Lowenbrau livery wrap, should make for some good conversation. I plan to take my time on the way back home and visit a few interesting tracks including Sonoma and COTA. I will start at Barbers the weekend before, and including the parade laps at Laguna Seca - will put me on 4 interesting circuits in less than 3 weeks.

does anyone know of any 992 corral or premium parking passes? I am coming all the way from Florida with my 992. Also, may be interested in the suite tickets listed above?
