Default sport chrono individual mode - how have you set up yours?

Hi,

recently purchased a 992 C2s. Sport chrono, rear axle steering, sports exhaust.

Previously had an m2 competition on ohlins with a few little mods. Good car but wow the 992 is just on another level. What a machine! Been super impressed with it.

Mine has the standard PASM rather than sport PASM.

Wondering how you guys set up your individual mode on the sport chrono.??

Sport opens the exhaust valves, but keeps the suspension soft and its much more rev happy.

Sport plus tightens up the suspension and is even more revvy!

I quite like suspension in normal for UK roads and just manually toggle the sports exhaust.

Not sure I have much adjustability left? perhaps I could set individual to just have the sports exhaust on. not sure I can get it do anything else more customised given my cars set up???

Does toggling the suspension activate the Sport chrono active engine mounts or are these always active?

Be good to hear how you set yours up.

PG

I have a C2 and I've never used Individual mode once.

For me:
  • Normal: Highway cruising
  • Sport: Everyday
  • Sport +: Backroads

The only other option I can think of is Wet mode with exhaust...but I can easily press the PSE button when I'm in Wet or Normal mode.

I have yet to set/use the individual mode or the wet mode for that matter.

I use Normal until the car warms up and when the wife is in the car. I use Sport the rest of the time with an occasional Sport+

I don't even know how I would set it up if I were to use it.

Individual mode: sports exhaust on, auto-shutoff off.

I'm in Sport Plus Individual 4 out of 5 times. GTS 7spd
  • Sport Plus because the throttle feels more dialed in and the exhaust isn't overly bubbly over Sport
  • Sport exhaust on
  • Sport PASM in Normal
  • Auto start/stop off
  • Auto rev match on

I set mine up to turn off auto stop/start, but recently noticed that as long as the climate control fan is on, it doesn't auto stop. So going with this approach instead (when in normal mode). Too many times turning the dial too slowly through sport+ has spiked the revs nearly to redline, always at the worst times, like when next to a cop.

I have mine setup for optimal launch control:
  • Drivetrain: Sport+
  • Exhaust: Sport
  • PASM: Normal
  • Aero: Retracted

Mine set for cold start and engine warm up to operating temp:
Normal (quickest warm up)
sport exhaust on (on during cold start anyway)
auto start-stop off

When oil warm, switch to Sport or Sport +
