PDCC in 992 Gts

If you are required to have RAS when you order PDCC as stated in Post 11, that means you will have a lithium battery in the US. You might also want to read the lithium battery threads on here before you make a decision. Your car and your $$ so it’s up to you……just research it and make informed and educated decisions. Get what YOU want, not what a bunch of guys on the internet who you don’t know say they want.

Not sure why you’d say that. I had the opportunity to drive my buddies S-PASM turbo-S that has PDCC as standard back to back with my S-PASM turbo that is specced without PDCC, and the ride did feel more comfortable in the turbo-S, better absorbing one side road imperfections. I did not get to drive it on track though, so I cannot give at-the-limit handling impressions. Since the GTS shares the same S-PASM setup as the turbo-series, I have to assume PDCC will make the ride more compliant on the GTS as well.
At least not in my book.

To the @Siso78 , have you actually *driven* a GTS? Many here (including myself) would suggest that if you are concerned about 'comfort' than a GTS is the wrong place to start.... coming from a Macan T / Panamera even a base 992 will be a game changer and may be 'more car' than you want. At least one other poster recently expressed frustration at the lack of 992 GTS utility in city driving, which is problematic discussion for a hosts of reasons.

I don't know about RAS and PDCC but my feeling is a 911 doesn't need any of these things. On my GTS I was interested in keeping it light so I got no options. I wasn't sold on the Lightweight package though if I could do it again I'd probably get the carbon ceramic brakes. They're amazing. Not that anything is wrong with the steel brakes but the current GTS is really dialed as noted above and the reduced weight and different feel of the carbon brakes would have been the cherry on top.

There are some here on Rennlist, and maybe even in real life, that experience car sickness in a 911 equipped with PDCC.

I've driven Mercedes AMG cars with this technology and I didn't like it. Feels artificial. Not sure how it functions on the 911. Either way, I don't think these technologies are needed and perhaps even detract from these cars.

I have both a 992 GTS with PDCC/RAS and a 991.1 GTS without PDCC and there is a very noticeable difference. The 991 still has great handling but the cornering on the 992 with the PDCC/RAS combo is insanely good. I'd say it's worth the money personally.
