Anyone here using one? I had a rennline mount in my M5 who's magnet was too weak; wondering if this one will be better.

They must have one wrench reserved for things that don't require any disassembly at all. This one need some minor dash disassembly.

I have it. It does take some disassembly. It looks good once installed and is in a good place. My only complaint is it doesn’t feel that solid. I feel as though I need to remove it and use some 3M tape to really stick it on good. It’s slightly wobbly. Not enough to come out or anything, just not rock solid.

I ordered one with the wireless charger.
Will be installing in a week or so if my car is back from PPF.

I don’t think so. Not enough material and clearance would be an issue. It just needs stronger tape or adhesive.

I don’t understand why anyone would need to charge a phone is a vehicle or have the phone within reach while driving. Perhaps if you have a 2 hour commute every day and you work in a place without electricity. But a phone charge lasts many hours, and you can access your phone wirelessly through the PCM.

If you do need to charge on long trips, why not just put the phone in the console and plug it in? I just throw my phone in the door side pocket (along with my wallet). Please explain why you need/want to access your phone while driving.

Because I find it useful having it in front of me and I need it to be charging while I am connected to Waze. I am on call all day and can’t just toss my phone in a console where I will 100% forget it. My phone helps make me money.
