What tires would you recommend for the GTS?

I know nothing about tires. Are the stock tires any good?
My GTS is RWD and I would only be driving in dry conditions.

Personally, I think any of the 3 OEM tires are great. I have Pirelli's PZero and have owned Michelin's. The Michelin's are only a little better overall. Others will disagree with this and feel the Pirelli's are not great tires but my experience is they are very close to the Michelin. The Michelin may ride a bit smoother and quieter but handling characteristics and grip are similar. I would be happy with either but, if the Michelin were close in price, I would pick the Michelin. If the Michelin were a lot more, I'd be happy to choose the Pirelli.

Mixed reviews on the Goodyears, generally favorable for the Pirellis. The Michelins were the best street tire around and with a bespoke Porsche tire, that's the one I'd want. I have them on two BMW's with Michelins. Love them!

I ended up with p zero but they are little louder compared to MP4S which I had on my M2

Get whatever is in stock and the cheapest in price.
For daily driving, you will never notice the difference between the Michelins, Pirellis, or Goodyears.

^Disgree... The Michelins are a significant upgrade in my opinion. I hated my Goodyear tires that came on my 992 and swapped for Michelin... I felt way more confident in spirited driving, especially in dry conditions they grip up in corners a hell of a lot better and dont spin at all if you try to punch it off the line ever.
Pirelli are smack in the middle for me but a solid choice if Michelin aren't an option

I cant offer a direct comparison between the Pirellis and Michelin, but I am surprised how much better the recent Pirellis are by way of comparison between my last set of them and what came on my '23 GTS. That said, it will be Michelin when I replace the current set.

I have extensive experience with all 3. I had Michelins on my last 991.2. Currently with pirellis on my m3 and Goodyears on my 992. Can’t stand the pirellis. Take forever to warm up and they’re noisy. Even in warm dry conditions with awd I have felt slip and was not really pushing the car. Will be swapping them out in the upcoming months. 500 miles so far on the Goodyears and I’m actually impressed. Definitely superior to the pirellis. However the Michelins are the best hands down.

Pirellis we have had do not seem to last very long, I have had the best luck with Michelin tires (Cup 2 and PS4S). I have Goodyears on my 911, I have not found anything wrong with them so far.

Love Michelins (Cup2 and 4S). Not a Pirelli fan, though to be fair, haven't used them in a while.
Reassuring to hear positive comments on the Goodyears. My incoming T has them and initially planned to swap them. Now thinking I ought to give them a chance.

I am about to list for sale a set of Cup 2 tires in excellent condition with 85% tread remaining, PM if interested. New they are $2000 plus tax and they may be backordered. I’m going to list mine for $1,100 shipped.

My GTS came with Goodyears, I switched to Michelins at around 2,400 miles and couldn’t be happier. I have almost 5,000 miles on the car. With the increased spring ratings, since the Michelins have nylon vs. steel belts, you wind up with a much more livable ride. I’ve had Pirellis on a 991.1 and 991.2, and also switched to Michelins for the same reason. You won’t be disappointed.
