Emblem color

Looks matte black to me, like all GTS’es get. I think it looks grayish in your photo because it’s superimposed on the shiny black paint but I bet it is the regular black.

I think I agree as well that it is the standard matte black. Besides being next to the shiny black paint as mentioned, it also looks like the light rays are hitting the emblem at the optimal angle maximizing specular spread.

Thank you all for the comments. ![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
I thought that it could be Agate grey or titanium.
I know that the Carrera T has Agate grey emblems, but I’ve never looked at any of those. Don’t even know if they are gloss or satin.
Isn’t there a Porsche that has the model emblem in titanium?

They are held on with adhesive and can be swapped out. Dealers have a jig tool to ensure proper alignment. Don’t try doing it without the jig, because unless you somehow manage to get it perfect, it will look off.

I changed it on my wife’s Cayenne once years ago. What I did to get the alignment correct was place two concentric rectangular strips of adhesive tape around the emblem to frame it. I then peeled away the inner rectangle. I used dental floss and 3M Adhesive remover to remove the old emblem. I then cleaned the inner area with rubbing alcohol and then detailing spray to get a good surface. I then taped back on the inner rectangle and placed the new emblem in the correct place. You only get one chance to align it as the adhesive is quite strong.

This thread was only about the color of emblems, not installing/positioning.
Just trying to keep the thread easily readable to other users that would like to get information about what the thread is all about: emblems color.

Are we talking about the P name or the model lettering? If it's the P name, a thread on how to remove (swapping out the silver for black) it with a fishing line
