T vs S for modification

I have a 992 TTS now. Just dropped in an inconel Kline system and holy cow it transforms the car.
Now I love my Turbo, but do miss the MT though. GT3 is not for me as I have need to shuttle around young kids in back seats.
Got me wondering, could I trade my TTS for a Carrera T, upgrade to Pure Turbos, stage 2 tune, Kline exhaust, and have something similarly raucous but with an MT and $100K less (to put toward an air cooled toy)?
Which platform would be better for a highly modified build? T or S/GTS? Are there any engine differences between T and S? I think it’s just turbos (which I’d upgrade) and tune (which I’d also upgrade). So it’s down to the big red brakes (probably unnecessary on street, even for a rodded car) and that’s basically it? Or is there more to it?
Any other considerations?
Would miss that TTS top dog feeling though. It really is king of the road.

You have a TTS... the T won't compare to AWS, PDCC, TTS power, PCCB and everything else that comes along with it. I have a gt3 and wonder if I'd be happier in TTS with more power.. The grass is always greener!!!!

If you want a manual (either T or S) then it seems like around 550hp is pretty much your limit, unless you start building the clutch/trans too. Pure turbos will get you way over.
Source: 992 Sport classic has the 7spd and detuned to 543hp and M Engineering mentioned that limit too.

Over 550whp you may need to change part of the manual transmission (M-Eng can guide you more on this but I believe they said it was just the friction disc), otherwise, if you’re
going to do Pure Turbos either way, then it doesn’t matter which one you start with. You will end up with the same power.
The bigger brakes on the S would probably be useful at that point unless you’re going to swap pads and rotors anyways.

If your plan is to tune, I'd call M Engineering rather than post here. They'll be able to describe in greater detail the differences between the various options available to you.

S and GTS have the same turbos.
The answer is a GTS with a manual transmission.
It gets you bigger brakes, the helper springs, and access to options not available to the T.
