Makes the car look lower to the ground (if painted) I have them on my 992 GTS and like the effect. On my 991.2 GTS they were standard as part of the sport design package though painted body color was an option (i had them painted) to the default black. Mine are ppf''d on the 992 but they weren't on the 991.2 - I daily drove that car for four years and don't remember any significant (if any) road rash though.

Another fan of GT3 skirts. An added bonus: they are around half the price (or more) than the SD skirts!

The nice thing about the sport design ones is they are painted at factory. I think it makes the car look much more complete.
The GT3 ones are installed after. Cannot be optioned. They are black, but I guess they could be painted

I was wondering a that... Is Porsche's Jet Black Metallic a paint body shops can buy to match? 🤔

I replaced the standard skirts on my coupe with the GT3 skirts and after a couple of months went back the standard design.
After living with them for a while I didn’t like the look of their profile.

Purely cosmetic, no function. Note that it actually matches the rear sports design bumper better if you do NOT option them. Here is a good example:
