Yep. I called my service manager and asked him about the spark pugs….he said with my low mileage, it would make no sense to change the plugs. 👍

While I appreciate personal anecdotes and opinions, no one has produced actual verification of whether or not PSMP +2 will cover spark plugs and under what conditions.
Let's say we had 2 different drivers that purchased +2 for $2,445 and go in at the 36 month point.
- Driver A - has 30,000 Miles
- Driver B - has 15,500 Miles
Are folks suggesting that Driver A would have spark plugs covered in their service, but Driver B would not?

No idea, but since I don’t have the PSMP, I will not pay to have my spark plugs changed with less than 15k miles. Never, ever heard of plugs changed with such low mileage…so not paying for something I know i don’t need.

I have PSMP (4 year/60,000 km plan ) on my Macan S (I'm in Canada, but that shouldn't matter). I am coming up to my final service under the plan which includes a spark plug change at 60,000 km. I only have 40,000 km, but my plan expires on June 30, 2023, so they are doing the complete final service including the plugs. This makes total sense as I have already paid the for work when I bought the plan!

I drive in the city and especially during Covid accumulate miles across our multiple vehicles much more slowly than the normal rate (my 2020 C2S is lose to 3y and only has ~5K). I also choose to take my cars in annually for service and do so at my dealership. I've never had a problem with these dealerships performing the "next" service despite whatever mileage my car actually has (e.g., if this is the 2y service then it gets the 30K service regardless of actual mileage). I'm also not interested in saving money on service by doing my own oil changes, visiting independent shops, etc. and therefore PSMP works well for me.

The prepaid plan is NOT a discount. It's not a better deal than paying for the services yourself. It's simply a way to bake service/maintenance into your financing at time of purchase. Dealers are using it as backdoor ADM. And yes, they will hype up the maintenance costs at time of purchase to get you to buy a plan. In reality, for someone throwing down money for a six figure car, these costs are inconsequential.
Here are my actual dealer service costs for my 992C4S, not including replacement tires. This was the actual final cost to me with taxes, disposal fees, etc,.
10k mile service -> $0
20k mile service -> $1159.69
30k mile service -> $1585.16 (spark plug service)

And my dealer encouraged me to NOT purchase the PSMP when I was buying. In fact, every dealer I talked to said "wait until close to year 2 and then decide"
*Personally, I wasn't sure I was going to keep the car. But we had some work done on our house and the contractor said "get that thing out of the garage before I start... tomorrow" - so it went to a friends house where it was stuck for the winter. I really started to miss it and getting back into it this spring was magical.

My CPO 991.2, C4S came with Porsche PPM and I’m using this week for the 4 year service as it’s only got 18k miles on it. It was one of the reasons I bought it, So that’s air filter, pollen filters, oil change and spark plugs plus brake fluid flush, and check other items.

Reviving an older thread... did Porsche increase their posted PSMP (Prepaid Maintenance Plan) rates just recently? I am being told this was the case. The Plus 1 on a 2023 911 T is apparently now $1535 vs $1040. Does this sound right ? Can anyone post the current PSMP rate sheet ?
