What exactly is the data point of "price"?
I have yet to see/hear him explain that.
Just curious.

Let me summarize: If you paid ADM on a GTS or S, you’ve now lost it all

It reinforces my gratitude of having gotten a D in Accounting and Finance in college; meaning I would never have to take this stuff again. I need a drink after that...

ADM = Absolutely Disposable Money

Let's be a little bit real here...we spent a lot of disposable income on a nice car and enjoy driving it. I would venture to guess that there are not a lot of owners here that will be influenced too much worrying if they should hold off buying because things might go south.

There's some misunderstanding here probably based on the clickbaitey title...this video reviews the USED market for all modern generation Carreras. It doesn't speak to new car prices. So while I would agree that yes, in general ADM is money lost, the video simply points out that the used 911 market is trending towards pre-pandemic levels.
It also shows some interesting secondary trends, like S and GTS models more recently losing value at a faster rate than the base models in some generations.

From what I am hearing, TT and TTS allocations should be coming down the pipeline in more volume than in the past 2 years. Not sure if that means there will be more allocations than GTS, as I am not sure how GTS v. TT/TTS allocations compared historically.

Resale has dropped pretty dramatically on the TTS, I think. Some people who paid $100k over sticker are going to get hammered. TTS has never held value like a GT car, so pricing them like a GT car was a ticking time bomb. Same with GTS and S.
Really it depends on what you're paying - if you're getting a TTS at sticker, you'll be fine. You'll take a depreciation hit come resale time, but that's normal.

With the annual price increases on 992's, I would think this helps keeps the secondary market pricing strong. At least I hope it does as I'm about to purchase a 2021.
