Default Perks for buying new vs. CPO

As I wait and continually consider overpaying for a CPO, I wonder what, if any perks, a new owner gets?
I'm not talking about the perk of a 0 mile car or getting exactly what I want.

Any input or experience anyone would care to share on intrinsic perks?

Thanks

Having purchased a Porsche brand new ordered to spec and another CPO within a year of each other, the only big difference I can think of is the availability of choosing PEC or Euro delivery when buying new. Other than that, the experience I had was the same.

Just traded my built to spec 2019 C2S for a CPO 22 C2S Cab. with only 900 miles. Aside from the extreme limited availability of manuals, especially in Cabs, the big plus for me is that my warranty runs until June of 2028.

Yes, the CPO warranty is very attractive!

I’ve done both. The warranty on a CPO is great. Though right now I wouldn’t want to pay inflated prices on CPO.

No welcome kit? I'm surprised there isn't little more love shown to new buyers for an alleged upscale brand.

Depending on the state you register in there could be tax savings with CPO. In Massachusetts you pay $0.25 per $1,000 every year based on 90% of sticker value in year 1, 60% year 2, 40% year 3, 25% year 4, 10% from then on. Beyond the pricing of used 911's, the biggest issue is the build. There is so much variety which makes it hard to find the options you want and none of the options you don't. That being said, I may go for a used 911 if I don't get an allocation in the next 30 days.

Why is everyone talking about the CPO warranty?

This applies to any car, and can be purchased at any time. Also, can be extended multiple times. I had a 10 year old Turbo which was CPO...

There are no benefits to buying a CPO car over new, except maybe you can get it earlier.

In Canada, a CPO car goes for more then ordering new.

Honestly, my question was really intended for the non-car perks.

Welcome kits, invites to events, etc. - anything that makes this a little more special than buying a Chevy.

Welcome kits are the same. In the US, you get a carbon fiber pen, a little booklet and a certificate of authenticity either way. Invitations to events is dependent upon individual dealerships and what lists they put you on. Buy a CPO GT3 and the dealer will probably invite you to every launch party they have. Buy a new base Macan and you may get nothing but service department coupons. It's up to the dealer.

Neither Porsche dealer even gave me a keychain. When I took delivery of my GT4 at the PEC that bought me lunch and I got a gift bag with some nice things and a hat. Then later Porsche sent me a GT4 book. I recently purchased a CPO 992 and I got a nice Porsche pen in the mail.

CPO warranty is for unlimited mileage for those two extra years and not so with the purchased warranty extensions. So that's a difference. And, in normal times, CPO vehicles have some depreciation shown in the cost of the car as well.

I got a free keychain without the car.
