Full. Its absolutely absurd that a vehicle of this caliber has a crinkle dash. And in terms of resale, more people are likely to pass on a car because it has standard rather than pass because it has full. I'm not a dash stroker but every time I got in my old GTS I just admired how good the dash looked. And my M2 just felt cheap.

Never had any problem selling a 911 with the standard interior. That's just a nice line the dealers like to spin so you'll spend up big. There are many opinions on this, like most it's a personal choice with no right or wrong answer.

Can’t wait to see my plastic dash and door panels in hopefully around 2 months!

There really is no wrong answer here. If $4530 is more important to you then a full leather interior option then go for it. As far as resale value, build it for you not the next guy. I originally was specing out a T and immediately checked the higher $6930 leather option, but that doesn't mean it's right for you. I owned plenty of Porsches over the years, some with full leather some without and enjoyed them equally. You do you. That's why Porsche gives us so many options, to personalize the cars to our personal taste. My biggest suggestion to you is try and sit in as many Porsches with and with out full leather, then make you decision. Enjoy the ride and stay thirsty my friend.

For me, full leather is an absolute must in any 911. I’ve done the plastic dash in the past and regretted it.

I'm going through the same dilemma right now, was trying to stay under $140k, but the leather upgrade blows that up to $144k. I had the plastic dash on my 991.2 T, it was OK but it did bug me a bit. That car was also almost HALF the price of the 992 T (I bought it used for $84k).

Here's my current build with leather (locks in 2 weeks) https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PRTZ8VQ6

It doesn’t sound as a dilemma so just order it and try to remain under $144k !

a wholly subjective response to the question: because I like looking at nice stitching while I drive and to be reminded this is a special car, not a Subaru/Honda/Toyota with a cheap plastic dash

Loving full leather on my T, it's a must for me for a car of this price.

I went exclusive Manufaktur interior on my GTS. It’s my first 911 and second Porsche. I wanted fast luxury and that interior certainly delivers. Our other Porsche is a Cayenne Platinum with a heritage leather interior in Truffle Brown and Cohiba and it’s exquisite. It adds a level of refinement and luxury that’s well worth the price of entry.

If it did bug you before (enough that you noticed it), going full leather in your case makes sense. When I ordered my M3, the options are extended and full leather. Full Leather gives you the dash stitching. After reading the bimmer forums, I regretted not getting full leather. However, once I had the car, I didn't miss it at all. Had it bugged me enough, my next one would had been full leather for sure.

Up your Budget to $145K. I know you can do it.

So by that logic:
If no stitching = Toyota
then stitching = Porsche ?

Does that mean my Sienna with leather interior is same as Cayenne?

Schn311, Almost identical to my build and price, even same color! I have the leather ($4350) right now with rear wheel steering which I'm thinking of dropping. I did go for the 18 way seats as I'm 6'4" with a 36" inseam and need the comfort which I'm told the 18 way provides better than the standard. Would like to save about $8-$10K by dropping rear wheel steering, leather and the 18 way seats but am worried about regretting it down the road.

Get what you want. As others have said, it's all personal. The standard package is great. Full leather is slightly more luxurious. I have the base and have never thought wish I had upgraded. The car is fantastic.

If I am spending 125K or more, I do not want to see the same rubber pebble grain dash that I see on my cheap Honda. I like to feel good about my surroundings when I drive.

If I was on a strict budget, I would not get the car to begin with. Do not nickel and dime a dream.

If you get the leather, I doubt you will wish you hadn't. Can't say the same about the opposite.

If there wasn't stitching, how many would be able to tell if it was leather or not? I'm ok with the standard interior as it doesn't impact my experience. I bought my car used so I didn't option it exactly as I would have liked. I didn't have leather on my imaginary build for my allocation that hasn't come up yet.
