Can't read Porsche subsecond clock at nite

Yes! Very annoying. I set the brightness on high, but I still can’t read the time at night. I posted earlier about how the redline on the tach is also invisible (literally; it’s not just dim, it disappears) at night. And the two outer gauges are just completely obscured all the time. The usability of the 992 interior is just a mess in general, especially in comparison to the wonderful setup in my Spyder. The 992 interior designers evidently have degrees in fine art but have never driven a car before.
And the PCM can only display time OR temperature (on my Spyder, I can display both) I have mine set on exterior temp, so the only clock I have is the subsecond clock.

Nobody should have any trouble knowing the time in the 992. It is glaring in at least 3 spots sometimes 4 if CarPlay is on. Gauge, sport chrono, radio, and CarPlay. If you have a 22 model set the gauges to minimal view and you can see time and temp clear without moving your head.

I look at the Porsche design clock as purely ornamental. I still wish I had it because it is a better looking clock than standard sport chrono, but reading the gauge and radio is still quicker and easier and I do not use the sport chrono clock for anything.

I was just thinking…
I’d guess that the brightness of the clock has to be codeable since it’s adjustable from the PCM. It’s just that the highest brightness is still too dim. If it would just turn up to the level of the rest of the dash, I’d be able to read it. I’m going to see what my dealer says. The brightness has to be adjustable by software.
