Hey all. I’m replacing the factory P-Zero’s with Nankang CR-S. I’ve heard they run a little narrow compared to other brands and wanted to see what tire width allowances we have? I’m on the RS wheels and was considering going 265 up front, 325 in the back. The car will see a few track days, but otherwise is a weekend car.
no idea on the fronts, ive got 26k on my stock fronts and still havent needed to change them. Now the rears ive been through 2 sets already and running 315's with zero issues.

What brand tire are you running? I’m not a fan of the Zeros - they don’t offer much grip at all.
Not going to complain they have been good tires and will get 30k mi out of them.
I have been running PS4S on the rears on the last 2 stints. They are better that the P-Zero’s but it’s a personal choice.
I ran them on the last few cars so like most humans, we are creatures of habit.
So overall not bad for a C2S MT that’s been tuned with 600+ whp (at this Hp and only RWD getting traction is always going to be a problem in 1’st and 2’nd gear)

10k avg on rears
30k avg on fronts
I hear you. I’m in the same boat - 13k on stock rears with stg 2 E85 tune. We’ll always struggle for traction, but I can’t roll the throttle into turns right now due to the tread being so low on the rears. I’ll either size up on the PS4S’s or stay stock size on the Nankang’s. Appreciate your thoughts.
Appreciate everyone’s thoughts. I ended up going with the PS4s’s and I sized up both the front and rear by 10mm for 315’s in rear and 255’s up front. Looking forward to to Nankang CRS’s being offered in the C2S sizing this spring.
Vendors of tires and especially Tire Rack post detailed data including dimensions of the various tires they offer when mounted on a wheel rim whose width is specified. As others have noted, the width of the rim on which the tire is mounted will affect the width between the sidewalls of the tire. Wheel rim width will also affect the bending [rollover due to side loading] characteristics of the tire's sidewalls and thus the handling and ride quality of the same tire, with the general effects being that a wider rim will "stiffen" the tire and vice versa. There is a tire industry association that sets standards for various types of tires, namely https://www.us-tra.org/ but unfortunately they do not make available to the public their proceedings and standards.
Here is a screenshot of a table comparing three different tires available from Tire Rack to fit a 2022 Porsche Carrera S with standard brakes; note the differences in tread width when the tire candidates are mounted on the same width of rims. I'm a bit surprised at Tire Rack listing the OEM rear rim width at 11" because the rear rim width of my 2017 C2S is 11.5".
