I think this is probably a big factor, particularly for a PDK Targa. I love the Targa, but it’s not the “enthusiast” choice. I feel like Targa buyers in general skew towards wanting the newest and fanciest, so they are more likely to see the .2 as the shiny new thing. They likely care less about the loss of the analogue dash, GPF, etc.

For me, the color combination, the great options list in connection with the Targa GTS looks very stylish, very unique and will get a lot of attention. But if you want a manual transmission, I would call the PDK the showstopper.

If you are worried about depreciation do not buy a Sports car.

They all depreciate unless you have a Unicorn that is going to just sit in your garage
