Carrera winter sets can be had in either 19/20" or 20/21" sizes. The picture in the configurator actually shows the 20/21 set shod with Michelin tires, not clear if they are PA5 though. However, looking at the Michelin website, they offer N0 spec PA5 in the Carrera 245/35R20 and 295/30R21 sizes, those could very well be 992 Carrera spec PA5 (would need to confirm).

I have no idea what is going on in this thread or what the “concerns”
really are. But I can confirm I bought the 20/21 inch PA5 N spec turbo sizes for my stock C4S wheels (pictured above) from Discount Tire. I also saw them available on Tire Rack and yes, they are awesome. No I don’t drive like I do in the summer on them but you can still have fun with them in a variety of conditions.

I just don't and never will understand why people get so worked up over what others post asking or sharing about their experiences. OP is entitled to posting whatever he wants out of curiosity relevant to the 992. That's the whole purpose of this forums site. We're all here to share/learn and buy/sell things related to our cars. If I want to create a thread about "what's the fastest you hit in reverse in your 992" then I can. If it bothers you so much scroll past and move on. You guys drive Porsches and other prestigious cars but act like children over the silliest things.

I've been buying Blizzaks for my vehicles since they became available. No one drives in the winter like they do in the summer nor do they expect regardless of what tires are on their vehicle, tire specs be damned. So like others in this thread have alluded, your original post OP is rather ridiculous. Drive fast, take chances must make sure you're nowhere near anyone else so it's only you that is endangered.
A buddy of mine lives in Buffalo. He says you guys are going to be getting more snow for the game on Sunday. It gets nuts up there. Be safe my man!

Yup, supposed to get a pretty significant storm coinciding with Miami's visit to hostile territory. Should be interesting. Thanks for the well wishes, old pro here, been through a lot of blizzards which I'll gladly take over hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, mudslides, floods and volcanic eruptions!

Ha - it started with me providing some helpful advice to the OP that slowing down was important in the winter and to go easy - even on performance winter tires. Several others told the OP his post was "absurd" and then for some reason the OP started attacking me and accusing me of all sorts of fun things - and that I'm not being nice (I swear I was in my first post in the thread!).

And last year, when I bought my winter tire/wheel set, the PA5 were not available for the 992 - in the winter size that Porsche recommends*. They have since become available and it appears that Porsche has dropped the P Zero Winter and now goes with a mix of Goodyear, Continental, and Michelin on their Winter Sets (damn, cause the PZero winter simply SUCKS!).

*Interesting fact, Porsche downsizes their winter set from a width perspective to keep stuff from flying onto the car - so their tire width (and rim) is smaller than stock. Found that out after I acquired a nice set of Carrera Classic wheels....which I just might put on next spring.

I am on winter season #3 on PA5 245/295....have ripped it in all sorts of conditions with these tires. They perform with confidence.

Can even do a sub 3.0 0-60 pull with these on, which seems impressive to me. Just drive em as usual but dont expect them to feel like Cup 2s
