Took me 3.25 hours to install in my garage with the vehicle on the ground. I just lifted each side one at a time to let wheels drop enough to fit my torx in to remove the inner liner. Rest was easy.

i would rate the install at a 2 of 10

Does this seem like too much, just right or a good price? TIA
It only takes about 45min with the right tools. I know because I installed a sport muffler and sport cats on mine. I used a hydraulic floor jack and blocks to raise the rear off the ground. This is a very easy job if you know what you are doing.

Mine is 2021 C2S MT. The bumper doesn’t have to come off.

This is a 992 Turbo, however, it’s the same as a 992 C2S. Check it out:

I was quoted 4hrs and $800 by the major local Porsche/exotic shop to install sport cats! They want to take the bumper off since it’s faster. I questioned it saying people do it in their garage in an hour without bumper off and they said well maybe it will only take 3 hours.

the v clamps are held by one screw each. If they’re oriented upwards you need a swivel head wrench. I’m telling you with the right tools it’s a 2 hour job max, that’s with removing the cats and o2 sensor to make room.
On a 992 C4S and lower models there’s no need to remove the bumper. Removing the bumper takes longer than replacing the exhaust IMO.

Use a jam nut instead:

All you have to do is thread two nuts onto the threaded end of the bolt. Looking at the threaded end of the bolt, hold the nut threaded on first in place with a wrench and tighten the second nut (jam nut) against it with another wrench. Once they are tightened together, take the wrench off the first nut. Continue turning the second nut (jam nut) clockwise and it will unscrew the bolt to the point where you can remove it with your fingers. Once the bolt is loose, remove the two nuts and you are golden.

Piece of cake.
