Track Your Dream Photos
#16
My code shows the following:
Which is interesting since I have one production photo already, from the brief moment my build showed Phase 3, before reverting back to Phase 2. Le sigh.

It's amazing. TYD is similar to Fedex or DHL or even Amazon online tracking. So long as everything is progressing like it's supposed to, it's great. But when it doesn't, it just sort of sits there and then good luck finding out what's really happening.

I think the big problem with most of the posts regarding TYD is the expectation that it works like FedEx, UPS, Amazon, or some sort of actual live-tracker. The reality is that it's a novelty item that is mostly automated, and managed by a company whose main proficiency is making sport cars that go fast. Expectations should be managed.

I'll go ahead and say it.....I hope that TYD is as accurate as Fedex, Ups, etc. Production started 11/21 per TYD!!! LOL

Correct! No tracking in the track your dream app sums it up! Can't wait to play the "what boat I'm I on" followed by "why is my car sitting in Baltimore for so long" waiting for a transport to pick it up!! LOL What's funny is my Sales manager is telling me I might make a boat on Dec 2nd!! LOL

Darn. I wonder if it’s the aero that is holding it up. I start production tomorrow so we’ll see if mine also gets pushed out.

Sorry to hear that. My C2 entered production the same day as yours (11/16) and mine still shows estimated production complete by 11/25 (tomorrow). Must be something not on a C2 causing a delay presumably.

Well, FWIW, I've had my own drama. Back on July 29th I actually received an email and a message that my car was built.
To make it worse, that was supposed to be my ED trip. I made plans only to learn a week later that this was all a mistake based on preset messages from TYD and my car was in a holding pattern. More than a month later I learned that it was pushed back to a 2023 and I wouldn't be able to make my ED date. But I just kind of assumed that my car would be one of the first 2023 cars to be produced. But here we are, 3 delays later. It's really ridiculous.

EDIT: I've heard: Aerokit, Deviated leather stitching, BOSE, (as well as PCB which I did not order) all causing stop sales. But that should only affect pending orders and shouldn't necessarily affect the car beyond the freeze date and certainly not once the car has been scheduled for production. Do you have any of these options on your C2 build?
