Default Recommended Tire Pressure

My Porsche App indicates my car should have a front tire pressure of 35 psi and rear tire pressure of 45 psi. I have read different recommendations elsewhere. For a warm weather location (South Florida), is there a preferred tire pressure? I have a 992 GTS Cab with the Goodyear Eagle tires if that makes a difference.

I use 30 front 33 rear set to comfort mode. I suggest experimenting to see what works for you.

I use 33 front 38 rear which is full load comfort pressure. You’ll need to make the change in your PCM.

Isn’t full load and comfort two different pressures? I just looked in my manual and now I’m going to check again. I’m 32/38 (have turbo size rear tire 20/21) on my winters and it feels great.

Edit: You have to state if they are winter/summer and 19/20 or 20/21 for the correct pressure.

Well, partial load is a little less pressure.

I couldn’t figure out what the difference between full or partial load is?

I’m at 37/45, which is what the dealer had set. I think that’s the full load, non-comfort pressure. Car feels fine to me. Bumps are not too bad.

The advice pressures of opening post are for GAWR's fully used and maximum technical carspeed. That last is verry high for porche.
I determined that if 90% used of the loadcapacity calculated for the pressure for 99mph( 160kmph) that then comfort and gripp is still acceptable.

So if you can hold yourselfes to that maximum speed, and wont go over it for even a minute, I can calculate a pressure for those GAWR's so still fully loaded, wich you seldom use.
But can also make a pressure/ axleload list for your tires ( different front rear).
Then you " ONLY" have to determine the axleloads in your use, and search them back in the list.
Succes with determining those axleloads, the most tricky part in it all, and your respocibility.

Give maxload or loadindex, XL or not, and speedcode, or give sizes, so I can google.

Made spreadsheet to make those lists, in wich I can change the percentage used, per axle or tire, and make list for higher speed. Yust write how you want it.

Full or partial load is dependent on your payload. IIRC, partial is up to 600lbs. Anything more than that, go to full load.

Been using 32/38 recently and I find it to be ideal.

Agreed. 10k miles in and 32/38 are my preferred pressures.

Although I keep losing air in the rears. Ever since tracking the car. I’m losing about 5psi in a week, then it stops. Now that temps have dropped its speeding up a bit.

600 lbs of people in a 992 seems like a lot.

If it’s just 160 lb me, then it’s partial load?

Is there any downside (other than rougher ride) to running the full load pressure? I like how the car rides now.

When I bought my targa 2weeks ago, this is what my dealership put me on my tires. Crazy!
I deflated it just now to 34/39. (+1 from 33/38 cos it’s winter!) and set up as fully loaded and comfort pressure in my pcm.
