Part of the ownership experience is the dealership, for better or worse.
For me it isn’t about the dealer, but what loaner they’ll put you in if you have a problem that will take awhile to sort out. When my GT350 needed a new engine, it took a few months to get it done. The best they would offer me was a roached out Fiesta. This is after I bought a few F150s, Focus ST and two GT350s from them (all new). I said thanks but no thanks and quit doing business with them and Ford.

Have to agree with others, Porsche service has been hit or miss and certainly hasn’t wowed me. Plus their coffee and snacks are meh. Ironically the best service I’ve had was a GM dealer. They did a great job helping me get the suspension set up and fluids that I brought to them for a track day in my ZLE. They were very very helpful, was refreshing for a change.

Corvettes haven’t moved the meter for me since the last one with the split window. 🤓

As a new member here I’ve benefited greatly from Nick’s videos. He’s opinionated, often funny, usually entertaining, but what else would you want, wishy washy boredom for 1.5 hours? He makes it clear many times others may disagree with him. His 992 options videos started my research. Since then I’ve read through previous posts here, and am up to page 111, going backwards. Have learned lots more but would not have understood nearly as much without video basis. Much of Rennlist info requires “precursor” courses.

My choice - both are great and lucky to have them.

He's right, kiwis are totally soyboys. I mean look at this guy.

Yea, he looks OK, but that's because he's just the referee.

I’ve worked with several Porsche dealers and it’s all over the map. Some are exceptional and some are run by corrupt, incompetent morons.
I think what you see is happening is that large dealers like Hendrick and Penske, among others have included Porsche in their portfolio of dealerships and the employee base are shifting from places like Dodge, Hyundai, whatever to Audi, Lamborghini and Porsche using the same sales and service model they did wherever they came from because they we successful.
