+100... i thought this was a joke at first. It looks so strange. If you dislike the Braun, Porsche even has (had? I'm too lazy to check the configurator) a solution that looks pretty good and fits the 992 interior design language. IIRC it was $750. For a real Porsche part that's a steal compared to this product.
It doesn't actually even look very much like the GT3 **** it's trying to imitate:

W/o debating about likes or dislikes but I am either blind or it is exact the same shape and proportions as the GT3 ****. The stem looks the same too inuding the cutout. Main difference is the top insert is not like a button ...
So, not sure what you expect it needs to imitate the GT3 ****.
The main difference in looks comes from where it mounts to aka the floating PDK base vs the shift booth base in the GT3.
Anyone purchase the 992 gear shifter off Ebay and install?

got it when wife visited taiwan
its actually a very nice unit (picture doesnt do it justice) - heavy, high quality like, and the lettering is actually lasered embed in the round bezel
The weight make the shifts more satisfying - Also much better looking than the razor

I may be in the majority but I’ve actually grown to like the shaver. Not as much as I liked the 991.2 pdk shift **** (I used it as a hand rest). Can’t do that on the 992 shaver. Haha guess I’ll driver faster and keep both hands on the wheel.
please let us know your thoughts after you have put a few hard miles on your 992 with the new shifter. Since the shifter is heavier, I am curious if it will move on it's own during hard acceleration or braking. I am contemplating the purchase, and I thank you for taking the plunge first for all of us.
