You can add wireless charging and a mount at the same time pretty easily:

Interesting. Not sure I want a phone right there while I shift. I have the ashtray insert and rest my arm on it. I would bump the phone off all the time.

The USB connectors charge the attached device when the car is running. If you leave the device plugged in (My ipod qualifies), it will not charge when the car is idle. With carplay is enable on the phone, the car will accept carplay with one press on the PCM screen. Nice considering Porsche's Nav directions are pretty lame.

the phone stays quite low and out of the way. I use the lever to shift (PDK) quite often and have never had an issue. But then I rest my arm on the arm rest and not on the ashtray area 🤷‍♂️.

I got confused with wireless charging, it came with my Taycan 4S, so I was surprised it didn't come with the 992. Odd they didn't include it.

Does anyone have a workaround to charging the phone outside the centre console without the lid crushing the cable? In some of my previous cars there was a little hole to channel the cable through, but that doesn’t look like the case here. When the phone is left inside the centre console it seems to get extremely hot.
