Pardon my confusion, what doesn't add up? The PTS allocation? The car does show up under my account on the Porsche site but I dont know if that means anything. I am curios to see how this plays out though, you guys here seem more knowledgeable (and convincing ) than my dealer. I will just keep updating as we move forward and let you know how it plays out. I have so many cars coming in the next few months that I dont mind waiting if I have to + winter is coming so not a big deal.

In January of this year, I received an allocation for a Targa GTS for an April build date and within a few weeks I switched from a standard color to a PTS color (Oak Green Metallic) and my allocation was switched to a later spot. I don't know if that was because it was a specific PTS allocation but it cost me three months. In the grand scheme of things, not the worst outcome, and now that my car is sitting on a ship (Glovis Sun) all the delays and worrying were just part of the process. You'll know in the coming months what's going on and it sounds like you've got a good line of communication with your dealer. Best of luck!!

Did the dealership load a build in for you? When you ask the build status what's the response? Do you have a build showing up on Porsche track your dream? First answer should be yes. Answer to question 2 is yes with the VXXX code? You should be able sign in to my-porsche.com and see the build. My build date shows 9/24 because I change options often. LOL

Good the dealership loaded a build, now the real question did your PTS order go V200? When it does you're all good. You should receive a build sheet with all selections and prices. It's very common you'll be asked to sign. Hope you score a PTS. I wanted the Acid green!

My car just went V200 and should be delivered in a few months just as the dealer told me. So far so good.

Super!! March 2023 correct?? It's not a few months if your numbers above are correct.(you lock in 3 months) Right? 180 days is 6 months not 2 months. You're a little under 6 months out. hope that holds. It's very common for changes and delays. I was within 10 days of lock and knocked back 3 months. The most important part is V200 and they accepted the order. You should have received a build sheet and it will show the options prices with the V200 code. Hang on!!

Any thoughts on manual vs. PDK? I keep going back and forth, I can make a case for each one. I have about week to decide before it locks.

Oh NO! Don't ask!! If you don't care about resale manual all the way. If you love manual shifting like me, manual. PDK for quick, PDK resale.

Probably get more back in resale with a manual, although it might take longer.

I do enjoy rowing but I was thinking that it might be easier for my wife and kids to drive it but then again my kids should learn to drive a manual.
