I think the OEM Porsche mats are the best in performance and appearance unless you live in area with absolutely terrible weather and/or are hard on your car. In the latter case, I’d recommend the WeatherTechs as suggested above because they have better coverage. Some prefer Lloyds but I have never found an offering of theirs that appeals to me for some reason.
The problem I have with the OEM ones is that they tend to have a stench (somewhat like ammonia/Windex) and there seems to be no way to get rid of it. No cleaning method, amount of time off gassing, time spent in the sun, baking soda, etc. seems to take care of it. I threw away a set of them from my 2019 Cayenne because my “baking in the sun for 2 hours” experiment warped them while still doing nothing to eliminate the smell. That experience came after I threw a set into my 991.2 in 2017 without thinking about it (didn’t notice the smell), and later realized that my whole interior had taken on that smell somewhat. It was more than just the normal “Porsche” smell.
I had a set for my 992 that I returned to dealer because of that smell, and I got the WeatherTechs instead. I rarely drive the car when there is a major chance of rain, so I only put them in on those days. Right now I’m in between 992s (have a 2023 inbound and pre-traded my 2022) and I have another set of the OEM mats hanging in an extra closet hoping that they will off-gas enough that I might consider using them in the future. WeatherTechs will be used until then. They work great…I just don’t find their appearance befitting of a 911.
I know you're asking about all-weather mats, but I'm considering a set of wool cocomats. I ordered the samples and the mat material looks awesome. I'm in SoCal so won't be tracking too much slush and snow in the car
