Engine vibration on acceleration.
Bad news, picked the car up today and it's still making the exact same sound. Frustrated...
For those following the thread, the engine mounts did not solve the issue and I don' know what my next step is just yet.

slight lugging. Perhaps that’s what we’re dealing with here. Mine doesn’t do it unless I’m really light in the gas.
Here is a video with audio
I also took audio using a Zoom H2 microphone if anyone is interested.
that’s a shame. Maybe it’s just normal for this car. I need to drive another 992 to check.
Mine seems a bit more rattle oriented. I'm familiar with the lugging at very low RPM, this seems to be something beyond that lugging phase of the RPM... I usually feel the lugging around 1100RPM in 6th or 7th gear (PDK)

This may not be the same as mine but what my dealer found was that the struts and shocks were not properly tightened. When I went over bumps in that RPM the sound was very prominent. They replaced my rear shock and assembly and the car drove fine since then.
I went this weekend and drove a 992 Cab at the dealer, it made similar noises as my car, but not as prominent. For now I've decided to defer the issue, if I keep the car in sport it is much less noticeable.
did the dealer make any further comment on the noise that is still present?

The intermittent clunking goes away at around 1800 RPM. Sport mode brings the RPM up above that . The design of PADM (Porsche Active Drivetrain Mounts) seems to be the problem as per several Porsche Technicians. So far no fix for this problem has been offered by Porsche!! Some of the owners on this chat have had the both PADMs replaced with no improvement!!
When will Porsche acknowledge the problem and have a recall to fix it.
Let’s keep asking that question until they do. It’s not normal to hear that low RPM clunking on a such a sophisticated automobile…

The plot thickens for my personal situation, car was scratched (rear bumper) during the extended service visit to have the mounts replaced. It ended up being there for 38 days.
Now I have a scratch on the rear bumper cover that requires a bumper repaint. At this point I have requested the car be purchased back and start over.
