Thoughts on Ice Grey Metallic
#61
I saw a Panamera in the showroom in Ice Grey of Dealership... I really thought it was in white until I looked at the sticker and saw it was Ice Grey....

Thanks to all who posted pictures in this thread.
It was confirmation for me to select IGM with my C4GTS order given that PTS was unavailable.

I recently picked up my 992 S cab in Ice Grey metallic. In the sun I would describe it as close to metallic white with a hint of blue tint to it. Most people would say the car is white. In less than bright light it takes on more of a grey tone. I ordered mine with the heritage cognac interior and blue top. I had an Audi in Suzuka Grey and I would say Ice grey is very comparable. While Ice Grey and GT silver may look close on the configurator, they are very different in real life. If you want a silver, order the GT silver. Ice grey is not silver.

I love how my T looks in IGM, it's a conversation starter for sure because it changes colors so much based on the lighting.

Here are some pics of my GT Silver 991 next to my wife’s IGM Taycan. Not really close colors imho. I describe IGM as a very light, almost white, gray with silver flake and slight bluish pearl. IGM has a very slight blue pearlescent to it in some lighting, but no blue undertone like polar silver. It throws a lot of different tones/shades in the white/gray range depending on the lighting and angle. Looks great with chalk interior, my wife is in love with it.

I just ceramic coated in my garage, lots of depth to this color under the right light (and when clean).

Here is a good comparison to white.
