Default Aerokit Wing or not?

I originally ordered by base 992 with Sports Package and Aerokit wing but the wing was on stop order so I accepted delivery back in May with just the Sports Package. I just got notified that the dealer has an Aerokit wing available for me which could be painted and installed. However, I have now use to not having it but I did originally really like the look with it when I included in build. Would you add or skip?

It looks phenomenal, highly recommend it. It really looks like it belongs with the car, and is an extension of it, just like the 991 GT3 wing.

You wanted it so I would still get it if I were in your shoes, particularly if price is reasonable.

i have it and it looks awesome. But more so because everytime i see a 911 with that thing that goes up after a certain speed it looks really ugly. You will not regret it, it looks really good in person.

Get it, and if you decide you don't like it I'll trade you my normal flippy wing

Get it. I like the look. I ordered one and luckily got it delivered within a few months, in the process of painting it now and later install at the dealer.

Best wing is the Turbo wing.
Second best wing is the GT3 wing.
Aerokit wing does look good, but unfortunately requires the high cut Sport Design rear bumper.
If I get an Aerokit wing, that would be the best of both worlds given I have the standard bumper. Not sure why it requires it though, and how much of a hassle the wiring, painting, install is.

aerokit doesn’t require sport design rear bumper. You can do it on standard bumper if you’re lucky to get your hands on one after the fact.

If you are already happy with it w/o the wing then why even bother.

It is a more juvenile look but nothing wrong with that but some thing to consider. Hey- I have had (2) GT3s and I do like the lines of my GTS w/o the wing

Yep.

Unless one plans to track on a regular basis, what’s the point of the wing? Looks? Half the people will think its cool, the other half will laugh, thinking that a grown man is trying to relive his youth again.

Point and laugh all you want. That’s what I do when I see the Civic sized brakes on an S.

edit: had to add a pic of my fake GT3.

u think people laugh at a 170-180k GTS with a wing? Wtf does a wing have to do with youth anyway…?

Perhaps we are very different ages, but I think the 992 without a wing looks very boomer.

aerokit looks right at home on the GTS, imo.

I’m not a huge fan of the 992 without a wing.

could be partial tho cuz my spec is almost exactly yours lol
