Just got mine replaced before the warranty expires - nice to have a pristine windshield again!
This fiasco must be costing a mint since it seems so many were defective across the whole lineup - I wonder if they're "sharing" this cost with the windshield supplier?

How long is the warranty period for this issue ??

I had no idea this was an issue but my SA noticed it when I dropped off for a scheduled maintenance. They replaced the windshield under warranty but that added 3 unexpected days to my service. This was on a 2022.

Fortunately I already had the 2yr service appointment scheduled and I've added this to the list of items to fix. Since we've confirmed this has been going on for years and is still an issue for 22 models (anyone with a 23?? have this issue), is there a confirmed TSB on it? Also anyone in Atlanta have this fixed at Perimeter Porsche? Would be good to know going in to the appointment. Also, I want it done at the dealership with Porsche glass. I know they might outsource but that can be done onsite. Any additional thoughts?

This is just one thread on RL, there's others as well. My 2020 911 windshield was replaced about 10 days ago. It took almost 2 months for the dealership to receive the windshield. My factory warranty expires in April 2024 and after that there is no warranty coverage for the windshield seal or glass. I confirmed this with a rep at PCNA in Atlanta. Supposedly the material in the new seal has been changed to correct the problem. One can only hope. Also know that CPO does not cover this issue. I confirmed this because my car has CPO.

We'll lets hope the new seal is making its way to the production line??? Any chance you can share the PCNA confirmation? Feel free to PM me. Assuming the 2 months was to get the glass and new seal? Thanks much

The confirmation was a phone call and yes the 2 months was glass and seal.

My 2021 C4S has the same problem. I mentioned it to my dealership today only to hear that I could get some adhesive remover to get it off. After I explained to them that Porsche probably doesn't expect anyone to continually use adhesive cleaner on a $150k car after they wash it they asked that I bring it in to look at it.
