Hello to everyone from hot Puglia in Italy, ive been following you for ages and now I decided to connect with you as I need your help!
I have a '92 964 C4 cabriolet slate gray and until last week also a 997 TT black that I sold for a new project. 2 months ago I've ordered a Gts 4 Targa in Black as I wanted the more aggressive look on it Trying keeping my black 997 clean (basically clean only for about 5 mins after a good wash) I've decided to change color.
And here is the drama: first I was after the Gt silver, but then I saw a few gt silver 911 in a Porsche center next to some blue ones and I'm now thinking to switch to blue. GB is too purple for me, Night blue is now on the special color grid PTS so if I have to spent that money I might get something more unique. So the one I like to most on the PTS colors is Albert blu, classic Porsche color, darker then GB and not that purple either and not met but full color. I really like Albert but I'm not sure it this color will tire me after a few months
Gt silver for sure won't tired me but it's not giving me the same emotions as a Blu Porsche.
What color between silver and blue will show more the 992 curves and shape?
if you could give me your opinion it would help me decide for the best TX
How about Oslo Blue? It's a grayish blue and a friend just had his Taycan Turbo S delivered in Oslo and it's stunning and shows the curves off beautifully without being too loud. If I wasn't way past my lock date, I might have splurged for it after seeing it in the metal. I really like Albert Blue, but since the GTS accents are all in matte black, I personally think it looks better in lighter hues since it lets those accents pop (I went with GR myself). Here's a pic I found on Google - note that the color changes a lot based on lighting and is a very appealing darker gray-blue when not in direct sunlight:
Go silver! think about when you want to sell later on. What's cool now will not always be the same in 4 years!!
No offense, but I will never understand the "think about resale" comments that seem quite common on this forum. I urge the OP to do what makes *you* happy - if you can afford a new Targa, pleasing a future buyer should be the very last thing you're concerned about. No idea about the rest of the world, but PTS cars in tasteful greens and blues sell for significantly more here in Japan based on what I came across when I was considering used versus new.

Yes, looks like this peoples Ready to sacrifice their interests for the sake of other people completely unknown to them, it sounds extremely strange.🤦
