Default I got really lucky walking into a Porsche Dealership
I have been looking at Porsche 911's for a while, but it has been impossible to find one or an allocation available. But 2 weeks ago I walked into a brand new Porsche dealership, and they had a special allocation that was given to them by Porsche for opening up a new dealership. Apparently I walked in right at the time they were entering the gifted allocations into the system. I had to purchase the GTS right there on the spot. To my surprise the sales person said that the car would arrive in a week or so.

I finally picked it up yesterday and is stunning. It has a lot of the boxes checked that I wanted and more, like the Exclusive Manufactur interior, the Burmeister Sound, and the 7 speed manual.

And I have never even sat inside of a Porsche before, not alone drive it. I traded my 2019 McLaren 570s and I wanted to try the 911. So I am loving the very few miles I have put in so far... Can't wait for the weekend to drive a lot more.

You got lucky on many accounts-the allocation, the specs (great color combo and a stick), and delivery in a week. Good luck with it.

Good news all around. To me the most astounding feature is a spec manual.

I LOVE that red interior. That lipstick red just pops. Thankfully dash isn’t red too. It looks great with two tone.

I'd love to see that Guards Red interior in person....

One of the annoying things (to me) about my Bourdeaux interior is that looking at a side profile view, the color of the seat backs does not match the calipers

You don't have that problem.

Also... would love to hear pros/cons how you feel it compares to the experience of the 570s... which I'm sure turned more heads.

Love or hate the Burmester as a value proposition, I just love the way the speakers make the interior pop.
