Default Quick poll: Model designation on rear or just ‚911‘?

Hi everybody,

Just a quick poll:

1. Did you choose to leave the original model designation on your car‘s rear or did you choose the ‚911‘? And maybe you share a quick rationale …

2. Did you go with the a) original color or did you choose b) „High Gloss Black“ or c) „Exterior Color“? Maybe then you also mention the color of the car.

Thank you all and regards!

Model designation, but color matched (Oak Green Metallic). Best of both worlds, IMO. It’s a subtle badging that keeps the rear from look too spartan, but paint match blends it in better.

I vote just 911, or delete model designation.

None. I equate model designation to “***** envy” !

I prefer the full designation or no designation.
“911” by itself is for practical purposes the “Base 911” badge, because so many Base Carrera cars are spec’d with just 911.

Color is highly dependent upon the rest of your build choices.

Thank you! Good point - but could be intentionally, right? Understatement …

If I could go back to RE-spec, I would’ve just had mine say “911”

Full script is too busy in all cases.

On a standard rear bumper, just 911. Otherwise too bare

On a sport design rear bumper, delete. Otherwise too crowded.

Most base owners remove model designation. Most others keep it on, except those who want to stay under the radar

This was one of my wife’s only stipulations on the build. “If you’re going to pay that much for a car then you need to keep the badge”. My natural inclination is to de-badge. The paint match was subtle enough to be a compromise and I’m happy with it.

Given your situation you made a good choice. My wife told me since I was going to spend the $$ get exactly what I wanted (or didn’t want).
