The full script is just a little busy IMO.
Agreed on all counts. I do regret not getting GTS on the doors now though. One person at C&O asked if it was a Turbo, another thought it was a GT3 Touring. It's definitely hard to keep up with all the small ways Porsche differentiates various 911 models!

For $175 you can fix that in about 10 minutes (as it is only a sticker). Here you go...

$175 for a sticker I'll find a friend to print me the logo illegally for that kind of money. But I'd also have to peel the PPF off my doors and have it redone, which drives the price up even further. If I ever have to have the PPF replaced I'll probably do it, but I'd need a damn good reason to redo the film in the first place.

I’m firmly in the delete camp. Even if you have a base. But to each his/her own.

I don't give a ______ what anyone thinks looking at my car (when it comes) but I went 911 in black on GT silver as the script is too busy for me and as you so rightly point out, most don't know the difference anyways.

Or go that way ($175 for OEM, while sure not cheep, we are talking about a 170K car... but ok).. :-) Renndecals has them for much cheaper as an alternative.

On a serious note, actually you can and likely should put it over your PPF, as you can remove it when you grow tired of it. No harm putting it on the outside of the PPF.

I did the opposite. Delete rear, kept on doors. The beauty of ordering to create ones’ own car.

Not a scientifically sound analysis, but I‘d say that the feedback is really mixed 50/50. Interesting! Thanks for all your statements and opinions so far. Other opinions are very much appreciated!

Probably because it's like asking people's favorite color.

There is no objectively right or wrong answer.

Just 911 in OEM silver color. IMHO, looks better with Sport Design rear bumper.

I went around and around about model deletion. I even called some dealers with existing cars in their showrooms to get their opinions but in the end on my end, I opted for the black high gloss "911 Carrera 4 GTS " on my jet black metallic paint and high gloss trim options. I agree that it looks encyclopedic but if I don't like it, off it comes. I am fortunate to live in a small race car town with a lot of amazing cars. I often see full badges, no badges and even some fake badges.

I have a base Carrera left the standard badging. I am not that insecure or ashamed to let anyone know that I drive the base car. Nor do I care what anyone thinks.
